Baywatch the movie 2017 - review

We have been to the Movie Baywatch. Dwayne Johnson one of our favorite actors playes Mitch Buchanon.... Yes indeed, the names of the lifeguards are the same as in the series.

The movie is really cool. It has a lot of humor and action. There is a lot of humor around romances. The new lifeguard Matt Brody only sees the lifeguard job as a job where you only need to be able to swim fast for. This leads to dangerous situations.

Mitch feels or actually knows that there is someting very wrong around his beaches. Occasionally he finds drugs on the beach, when people start to die, he starts to investigate what's going on with his team.

I do not want to tell too much about the movie. I do not want to spoil the fun by telling the full story.

It is a good movie! Is it necessary that you have seen the series? No, I do not think so. It is just kind of cool when you know the actors from the series, as a couple of main actors from the series also appear in the movie. Besides that is just a funny and exciting movie.

Fast and Furious 8 - review

We went to the Fast and Furious 8, also called Fate of the Furious.

Even for people who are not really fan of cars (like my husband and son) this was a great action movie. It had loads of humor and action. Good fights and great stunts.

We came to see Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham, as we are totally fund of martial arts.

Vin Diesel, the Dom (Dominic Toretto), is kidnapped by Cipher, a strong, heartless woman who wants to start a nuclear war. She has got everything planned in detail.

Dom's team don't understand what has happened, but they feel that Dom would never leave them, his family, just like that. Dom's team, Deckard Shaw and Luke Hobbs need to work together to find and stop Dom. I a way, they do......

There is a baby in the movie who has a crucial role and one hysterical scene in the movie!

As always, I do not want to tell to much about the content of the movie, as I don't want to spoil the movie. You really need to go and see it for yourself!

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 - review

What a great movie!!!

The first Guardians of the Galaxy was good, but it took a while to get into the story. The second part of Gardians of the Galaxy was funny and exciting right from the start! There was loads of action and humor! The movie never bored for one minute, it was really great!

The characters where awesome, just like in the first movie. We loved the little Groot from the very first minute, where he was dancing in the middle of an unbelievable fight. What a great start of a great movie!

I loved the scene with Yondu in one of the space ships. He was throwing around with his arrows, so cool!

In this movie Star lord (Peter Quill) meets his real father! He is a God who has terible plans for the universe. Fortunately Star Lord comes to his senses again. Together with his team, he saves the world. It came inhandy that Groot is small.

In the end of the movie, there is a very touching part around Yundo, so beautiful and emotional !!

I do not want to say too much about all the story lines, otherwise I might spoil it for you. If you like action and humor, I dair to write that you will absolutely find it in Guardians of the Galaxy part 2!

We can't wait for Gardians of the Galaxy 3 to come out.

The baby boss - review

My first reaction... oh my god, wat is this movie about?

We went to this movie with our son, who is 10 years old.
It was horrible! Unless when you have an extremely open mind and you or your child are living in a fantasy world, maybe then you might like this movie.

My husband was almost sleeping!

I guess the worst thing were the many interuptions of the fantasies of the little boy. They we so far fetched that it was not funny anymore, it was boring.

This was a very creative mind who thought of the movie, far too creative for us!
It took a long time before we understood what the movie was about. Why could this baby speak, what was his goal? The baby came to the house in a car, in a suit, with a suitcase! He was not adorable in any way. He organised meetings with other babies.... purpose of the meeting?

Mom and dad work at puppy love. The baby "company" where babies come from is affraid that puppies will be loved more then babies... So the baby boss has to prevent that.

I am sorry, if I only knew..... we would have never gone to the cinema for it. Maybe it is more fun with little children.

Snatched - Movie with Goldie Hawn

Hi everyone, yesterday my friend and I went to the movie Snatched. Because of the fact that Goldie Hawn and Amy Schumer are the main actors we had high expectations on the humorists side of the movie, that it would bring tears from laughing. That was not the case. It was a funny story with hilarious elements, but that was about it.

The movie started of with Amy Schumer (the doughter) who works in a clothing shop. It seems that she is the customer, but..... well I won't spoil too much. Within 15 minutes it is clear that she isn't very successful. She has totally no control over her life and finances. And she does not have many friends, as a fact her boyfriend who tends to become very successful leaves her because of her soulful life.

She is a lone soul. Even her mother does not want to go with her on a trip. Somehow she manages to get her mother to go with her on vacation. That is the start of a very interesting and dangerous trip.

After meeting a guy in a bar, a lot of trouble occur. They are kidnapped.... they free themselves, but on the way they kill a family member of  a mafia boss. This of course makes him angry and for the rest of the movie he will be hunting them down.

The start of the movie takes a little too long, but there are enough funny parts in the movie to go to the cinema for.
