2:22 the movie review

Hij viel op in de filmlijst 2:22. Geen bekende namen of gezichten voor mij, maar wel een interessante trailer. Vliegtuigen die elkaar rakelings missen. De feiten die zich dag na dag herhalen, maar waarom?

Goede film of niet.... mmmmm dit is een lastige, dus 5 sterren, nee! De aanloop van net verhaal duurde erg lang, hoewel de vliegtuig scenes wel gaaf zijn. Achteraf is het logisch dat de aanloop lang duurt, omdat het verhaal opgebouwd moet worden. Je wordt meegenomen in een verhaal, een "romance" en "triller" dat aan het einde van de film tot een klimax komt.

Vind je het leuk om te puzzelen en te raden naar wat er in de film gaat gebeuren, dan is dit een leuke film. In de eerste helft vraag je je af waar de film naar toe gaat..... in de tweede helft van de film ga je de touwtjes aan elkaar knopen en zie je net als de hoofdrol speler patronen....

Het einde van de film is goed gedaan. Je ziet verbanden en hoopt dat heg goed afloopt......

Ik hoef er geen twee keer naar toe. Maar gaat er toch naar toe, dan wens ik u veel plezier met deze film!

Baby driver review

Baby driver, een gave comische triller en actiefilm met veel actie, een aanrader om naar toe te gaan!

Houdt u van racende auto's (net als in "the fast and the furious"), houdt u van actie en van een goed verhaal en een romance? Dan kan Baby Driver zomaar een de film zijn waar u naar toe wilt gaan!

De hoofrol spelers:
Baby (Ansel Elgort) is een knappe zwijgzame jongeman met een triest verleden, hij is gek op muziek, dit heeft tot gevolg dat de film van begin tot eind gevuld is met heerlijke coole muziek! Baby werkt samen met een crimineel (Kevin Spacey), die hem al jaren gedwongen in "dienst" heeft als chauffeur. Hij stelt keer op keer teams met criminelen samen om op spectaculaire uiteenlopende manieren bedrijven te overvallen. Ook zijn dove pleegvader en een meisje (Lily James) waar Baby verliefd op wordt speelt een hoofdrol.

Het verhaal:
De relaxte Baby zit in de wagen met muziek op zijn oren en wacht tot een overval klaar is. De boeven rennen naar de auto en de film gaat met een coole race scene spectaculair van start. Na deze klus ontmoet hij serveerster Debora, hij is op slag verliefd en heeft grootste plannen om met haar een toekomst op te bouwen als hij geen crimineel chauffeur meer hoeft te zijn. Maar als hij denkt dat hij vrij is en niet meer op boevenpad hoeft krijgt zijn leven een ander verloop dan verwacht!

Hoewel ik graag door schrijf over deze film stop ik nu toch echt.....  er zitten een paar onverwachte twists in de film, dus ik zou zeggen, ga lekker kijken! Ik wens u bij deze alvast heel veel spanning en plezier!

Baywatch the movie 2017 - review

We have been to the Movie Baywatch. Dwayne Johnson one of our favorite actors playes Mitch Buchanon.... Yes indeed, the names of the lifeguards are the same as in the series.

The movie is really cool. It has a lot of humor and action. There is a lot of humor around romances. The new lifeguard Matt Brody only sees the lifeguard job as a job where you only need to be able to swim fast for. This leads to dangerous situations.

Mitch feels or actually knows that there is someting very wrong around his beaches. Occasionally he finds drugs on the beach, when people start to die, he starts to investigate what's going on with his team.

I do not want to tell too much about the movie. I do not want to spoil the fun by telling the full story.

It is a good movie! Is it necessary that you have seen the series? No, I do not think so. It is just kind of cool when you know the actors from the series, as a couple of main actors from the series also appear in the movie. Besides that is just a funny and exciting movie.

Fast and Furious 8 - review

We went to the Fast and Furious 8, also called Fate of the Furious.

Even for people who are not really fan of cars (like my husband and son) this was a great action movie. It had loads of humor and action. Good fights and great stunts.

We came to see Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham, as we are totally fund of martial arts.

Vin Diesel, the Dom (Dominic Toretto), is kidnapped by Cipher, a strong, heartless woman who wants to start a nuclear war. She has got everything planned in detail.

Dom's team don't understand what has happened, but they feel that Dom would never leave them, his family, just like that. Dom's team, Deckard Shaw and Luke Hobbs need to work together to find and stop Dom. I a way, they do......

There is a baby in the movie who has a crucial role and one hysterical scene in the movie!

As always, I do not want to tell to much about the content of the movie, as I don't want to spoil the movie. You really need to go and see it for yourself!

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 - review

What a great movie!!!

The first Guardians of the Galaxy was good, but it took a while to get into the story. The second part of Gardians of the Galaxy was funny and exciting right from the start! There was loads of action and humor! The movie never bored for one minute, it was really great!

The characters where awesome, just like in the first movie. We loved the little Groot from the very first minute, where he was dancing in the middle of an unbelievable fight. What a great start of a great movie!

I loved the scene with Yondu in one of the space ships. He was throwing around with his arrows, so cool!

In this movie Star lord (Peter Quill) meets his real father! He is a God who has terible plans for the universe. Fortunately Star Lord comes to his senses again. Together with his team, he saves the world. It came inhandy that Groot is small.

In the end of the movie, there is a very touching part around Yundo, so beautiful and emotional !!

I do not want to say too much about all the story lines, otherwise I might spoil it for you. If you like action and humor, I dair to write that you will absolutely find it in Guardians of the Galaxy part 2!

We can't wait for Gardians of the Galaxy 3 to come out.

The baby boss - review

My first reaction... oh my god, wat is this movie about?

We went to this movie with our son, who is 10 years old.
It was horrible! Unless when you have an extremely open mind and you or your child are living in a fantasy world, maybe then you might like this movie.

My husband was almost sleeping!

I guess the worst thing were the many interuptions of the fantasies of the little boy. They we so far fetched that it was not funny anymore, it was boring.

This was a very creative mind who thought of the movie, far too creative for us!
It took a long time before we understood what the movie was about. Why could this baby speak, what was his goal? The baby came to the house in a car, in a suit, with a suitcase! He was not adorable in any way. He organised meetings with other babies.... purpose of the meeting?

Mom and dad work at puppy love. The baby "company" where babies come from is affraid that puppies will be loved more then babies... So the baby boss has to prevent that.

I am sorry, if I only knew..... we would have never gone to the cinema for it. Maybe it is more fun with little children.

Snatched - Movie with Goldie Hawn

Hi everyone, yesterday my friend and I went to the movie Snatched. Because of the fact that Goldie Hawn and Amy Schumer are the main actors we had high expectations on the humorists side of the movie, that it would bring tears from laughing. That was not the case. It was a funny story with hilarious elements, but that was about it.

The movie started of with Amy Schumer (the doughter) who works in a clothing shop. It seems that she is the customer, but..... well I won't spoil too much. Within 15 minutes it is clear that she isn't very successful. She has totally no control over her life and finances. And she does not have many friends, as a fact her boyfriend who tends to become very successful leaves her because of her soulful life.

She is a lone soul. Even her mother does not want to go with her on a trip. Somehow she manages to get her mother to go with her on vacation. That is the start of a very interesting and dangerous trip.

After meeting a guy in a bar, a lot of trouble occur. They are kidnapped.... they free themselves, but on the way they kill a family member of  a mafia boss. This of course makes him angry and for the rest of the movie he will be hunting them down.

The start of the movie takes a little too long, but there are enough funny parts in the movie to go to the cinema for.

Enjoy the movie!

Review Samsung Eco Bubble WW80H7600EW/EN

We zijn intussen 1,5 jaar verder. Onze ervaringen zijn behoorlijk bekoeld.

We hebben problemen met kleding die uit elkaar getrokken wordt en het wasverzachterbakje wordt niet leeggespoeld. Tot op heden probeert Samsung er alles aan te doen om de problemen op te lossen, maar wat als de 2 jaar voorbij zijn.... nu dus.... en de problemen zijn niet opgelost. We wachten af.

Wij zijn nu 6 maanden trotse eigenaren van de Samsung Eco Bubble WW80H7600EW/EN. Onze ervaringen willen wij graag met u delen.

De Samsung Eco Bubble WW80H7600EW/EN is een witte wasmachine met een cristal blue deur en een LCD-display. Hij is mooi om te zien, zuinig in gebruik en heeft een laadvermogen van 8 kg. Hij heeft ons € 999,- gekost. Was het dat waard?

De Samsung Eco Bubble WW80H7600EW/EN wast geweldig. Onze twee voorgaande wasmachines waren van Miele. Helaas hebben wij hier vooral veel problemen mee gehad, dus hoewel er geen betere zou bestaan, zijn we toch overgestapt naar een ander merk, in ons geval een Samsung.

Natuurlijk zijn de voor- en nadelen puur persoonlijk. Indien u al een wasmachine heeft met een laadvermogen van 8 kg maakt dat voor u natuurlijk niets uit. Maar onze ervaringen tot op heden zijn zeer positief.

De Samsung Eco Bubble WW80H7600EW/EN heeft vele voordelen.

-          Hij heeft een energielabel A+++, dus is goedkoop in gebruik

-          Hij heeft een grote laadtrommel van 8 kg. Dit scheelt zo 1 of twee wassen per week

-          Hij heeft een grote laadruimte, wat het vullen en legen vereenvoudigt.

-          Hij verbruikt de helft minder wasmiddel door het Eco-Bubble systeem. Wij doen nu al 5 maanden met een XL pack Ariël. We gebruiken ook maar 1/3 deel wasverzachter.

-          Hij is gemakkelijk in gebruik. U kunt verschillende basisstanden combineren met verschillende temperaturen.

-          Als de automaat klaar is met de was, roept hij u met een gezellig muziekje (deze kunt u ook uitzetten). Komt u de was niet direct uit de trommel halen? Geen probleem….

-          De automaat schakelt zich automatisch uit, dus geen onnodig stroomverlies. U hoeft de machine ook niet meer aan te zetten om de was eruit te halen, want….

-          De deur kan open gemaakt worden als de machine uit staat. Hij is gemakkelijk te openen door aan de deur te trekken, dus geen knopjes indrukken.

-          De machine geeft na een aantal beurten aan dat de trommel schoongemaakt moet worden, hiervoor gebruikt u het ”Eco Drum Clean” programma.

-          Het stain-away programma is fantastisch. Het was wel sneu voor onze hond. Zijn knuffel hadden we op deze stand gewassen. Deze was prachtig schoon, rook lekker en was heerlijk zacht. Alle geuren en zelfgemaakte vormen van zijn bekje waren er helaas voor hem uitgewassen.

-          Er zit een kinderslot op.

Maar er zijn ook een aantal nadelen:

-          De rand tussen het apparaat en de trommel is open en redelijk groot. Na 2 maanden voerde het apparaat het water niet goed af en bleek dat er een sok in de machine terecht was gekomen. Het was dat ik de kleur en stof herkende, hij was volledig kapot getrokken. Dat hebben we nooit gehad met de Miele. Dus sokken gaan nu in een netje. Probleem opgelost.

-          Het programma duurt erg lang, +/- 3 uur. Voor ons maakt dat niet uit, omdat we minder wasjes in de week hebben en het dus gemakkelijk in kunnen plannen. Er is ook een kort programma van +/- 1 uur, die goed schoon wast.

-          !!! Het klepje om het water uit de machine te halen om het filter schoon te maken is erg laag, zeg maar gerust te laag. Het is lastig om het water op te vangen. Dit is echt een nadeel.

-          Er wordt gezegd dat hij heel rustig is. Tja, dat is puur persoonlijk. Het is en blijft een wasmachine. Ik vind hem niet echt rustig, maar ben op dat gebied wel een zeur.

-          Het ophangen van de was duurt veel langer. Maar ja, dat heeft niets met de kwaliteit van de machine te maken.

We hebben intussen na 2 jaar al 2 keer een monteur nodig gehad:

- 1x omdat onze kleren opgevreten werden door de wasmachine

- en een keer omdat de wasverzachter niet wordt meegenomen in de machine, waarschijnlijk is het waterbuisje verstopt.

Samsung lost het allemaal netjes op, maar echt leuk is het niet. 

Onze conclusie:

De Samsung Eco Bubble WW80H7600EW/EN is een wasmachine die vergeleken met onze vorige Miele apparaten eenvoudig is in gebruik en wast goed schoon met heel weinig wasmiddel. Natuurlijk hangt een schone was niet alleen af van de wasmachine. Het is ook van belang om kleding binnenste buiten te draaien en de wasvoorschriften goed in acht te nemen.  

De klachten die wij hebben gehad met de wasmachine zullen me toch weer goed na laten denken over een volgende.

Samsung Gear Fit2 review

I would say the best purchase that I did in a long time! I love my Samsung Gear Fit2 smart watch! Now, let me first tell you why I bought this watch.

Half a year before I bought the Samsung Gear Fit2, my aunt told me about her watch, it could count steps and tell her how she slept! Just the idea of having more insight about things like this and the calorie consumption and the need of getting rid of a couple of kilo's triggered the wish of having one too. Around X-mass the time was right. I searched the Internet, watched review after review and choose the Samsung Gear Fit2!

If you ask me "what triggered you to buy this watch"? I would say "it was a combination of the reviews on the Internet and YouTube and that I could link it to the S-Health app". This is a great app! It contains all products you can eat with there calories, vat %, etc.

Did the Samsung Gear Fit2 meet my expectations?
Right, this is what the blog is about. And yes, it certainly did! Why? I'll tell you:

• The band fits great! I had seen reviews where the band got loose all the time. I have the watch for about 3 months now, it happened maybe twice, but i did not loose the watch. Keep in mind. If you want to buy this watch, choose the band in which you have spare holes both ways! Your wrist can vary about 4 holes from day to day!
• The display is very nice! The fact that you can have different displays is cool. You can adjust the colors to your outfit or mood. You can even download displays, I didn't feel the need.
• I trained with the watch in the fitness. The first time I was stunned; after rowing for 10 minutes, my watch vibrated on my arm. It had detected that I was doing a workout on the rowing machine. It captured things like hart beat, calorie consumption and duration, I did not have to do a thing!
• I saw that other users eihter didn't feel or didn't like the vibration, for me it is just fine.
• The interface between the Samsung Gear Fit2 and the S-health app is unbelievable. Things like sleep record, your walks (incl. Distance, hight, weather, map with the route, calories burned, time, chart with heartrate and speed, etc.)
• My watch is accurate in counting the stairs.
• One of my favorites is that alarms or messages on my phones are passed on to the watch! You feel a vibration and can turn it off on the watch. It is also possible to reply to for example messenger or WhatsApp messages.

Is there anything I don't like?
Hummm let me think really hard. Oh, of course:

• Like with a smartphone, it is sometimes hard to see what's on the display when it is very bright outside. You can adjust it, so for me again, it has not been an issue so far.
• The battery does not last very long, 2 days at the most.

I did not use the possibility of playing music yet, as I do not have wireless aerplugs. I also did not go under water with it (eventhough it should be possible).

Let's conclude this review by saying that for me this is a great watch that I enjoy having it on me ever minute of the day.

Beauty and the Beast - review

We went to the movie Beauty and the Beast 2017 from Disney with Emma Watson and Dan Stevens. I love to share my review with you.

Before I tell you how I felt about the movie, you have to know that I am a huge fan of the animation of Beauty and the Beast. I use to "watch" it ever day when I was cooking. I knew the lyrics word by word. The movie made me feel happy and it relaxed me. I went to the musical twice, once in New York, once in the Netherlands.

And now after all these years it's back on the big white screen with real people, a real Beauty (Emma Watson) and a real Beast (Dan Stevens). Beside these great figures, we were even more impressed with the living interior. Clockwise and Pendule were so real, that you almost thought that they really came to live.

The movie started with the so familiar tune in which the story of the prince changing into a beast is told. Then, the song that I love so much, Bell singing about her boring life in the village. A beautiful village, old houses, old clothing, etc. A great start of a great movie!

Various songs are added to the movie, which was not necessary for me, but the song of Beast was beautiful.

I was curious how the scene with the song "Be our guest" would be. Also this scene was great! So much better then expected, just like the attack on the castle.

Even the end was in a way surprising. I don't want to spoil your fun by going to much in detail, but for me it was an absolute top movie!

So therefore I stop writing and wish you lots of fun with Beauty and the Beast the movie!
